Assignment Description: In pairs, or small groups, think of a concept or idea you want to convey. Think about being a different character or object, in a different place or in a different time period.
1. As a team, decide on the concept. Have one person locate the image(s) and put them in iPhoto. The other person scripts what will be said.
2. Place the images in iPhoto. Open iMovie and move the image (s) to the project library. Adjust the image(s) so they fit and the length of time is about how long you think it will take you to recite the script.
3. Put up a green screen, such as bright green fabric, and stand or sit in front of the green so that you are the size you want to be in the movie. One person will work the computer an the others will be the actors/actresses. Note: you may want to walk into and out of the shot so you don't magically appear and disappear.
4. Turn on advanced features. Choose iMovie preferences, then General and show advanced tools.
5. Record the script while standing in front of the green screen. Select the part of the recording you want by placing the yellow frame around that portion in the Event library. Drag and drop the selected area on top of the image(s) in the project library. You will see the + sign, then a menu will appear. Choose Green screen.
6. Trim the movie to the desired effect. From the Share menu, choose Export movie. Select the size of the movie desired.
7. Share your movie. Think about how creative your students could be cre
